Absolutely yes!
Bush said 'mission accomplished' didnt he...
They have a government.
They have a constitution.
They have a police force.
They have an elected president.
They have elected officials.
We are done.
There is nothing else we can do there. We are only causing more trouble and now they are in the middle of a Civil War. The longer we stay there, the more terrorists will come there. We have basically transformed Iraq into a terrorist state by our occupation.

Since the war began, fighters from all over the Islamic world have poured across the porous borders of Iraq to wage Jihad against Americans. If US Forces pull out or Iraq, where do you suppose those thousands of terrorists will show up next?

of course that moron bush got us into this without good reason the nitwit should have got ben laden instead he gets us into another vietnam ....im sure that the american people will show the republicans what they think of thier time in majority .the democrats will win the house and take a few seats in the senate....but isnt it ironic that some of these people who want to stay at war are sitting at home typing on thier puters or who never served in the armed forces.but yet its fine with them if others get maimed or killed just as long its not them. by the way i served honorably for 4 years.

When there is war, people get killed. It's not avoidable. That's a risk of war.
This conflict has the fewest number of war casualties on record.
Everyone doesn't get a hug Suzie. Especially when they're trying to kill you.

serious point: iraq in on the verge of civil war. you've got the suicide bombers with their IED's (improvised explosive devices) and the Sunnis and Shiats fighting each other.
not so serious point: there are no drugs in iraq. maybe a bit of opium, or hashish, but it's very hard to come by. this lack of drugs makes it even more painful to army personnel based in iraq. they would have better success scoring illicit substances back at home.

We had no reason to illegally and unconstitutionally invade this sovereign nation in the first place. The only two reasons we attacked Iraq was 1) the Bush family has a personal vendetta against Hussein for how he humiliated George H.W. Bush during Desert Storm, and 2) Dick Cheney wants all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so he and hs Exxon-Mobil buddies can get richer and richer and richer.
The blood of 3,000 American soldiers and 41,000 Iraqi citizens is on the hands of George Bush, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld and all members of the most corrupt, evil, cowardly, arrogant, incompetent U.S. Congress in American history.
Do you think Bush or Cheney care about bringing democracy to Iraq? NO! Do you think they care that U.S. soldiers have died as a result of this terrible 'war'? NO! All they care about is OIL, and the military-industrial complex profiteering.
These bungling idiots should be brought up on charges of crimes against humanity by an international tribunal, and - if convicted - should face public firing squads.

Surely Satan has reserved a special oil-soaked corner of Hell for these corrupt sub-humans who have ruined America's reputation as a world leader and global peacekeeper; who have put Americans TRILLIONS of dollars in debt for an unconscionable 'war'; and who have brushed off the deaths of thousands of people with such trite statements as, "STUFF HAPPENS" (a quote from Donald Rumsfeld during a press conference early on in the 'war'. when asked about the collateral damage of innocent people being killed).
PREDICTION: Within ten months, Bush will invade Iran. He has to come up with a plausible reason (since he knows "weapons of mass destruction" won't fly again). But, as soon as he does, Iran will be America's next target. Why? NOT to protect us from 'terrorists'. We will invade Iran for the very same reason we invaded Iraq: we want all that rich, easily-accessible OIL. After all, what's OUR oil doing under THEIR sand???
PREDICTION: There will be NO TROOP WITHDRAWALS from Iraq until Dick Cheney has a rock-solid, iron clad arrangement in place to acquire all of Iraq's OIL (with the full cooperation of the new Iraqi government which he helped to install).
QUESTION: If Bush really assumes we'll pull out of Iraq by 2009 (or 2016, depending on which of his time tables you want to believe), why is the United States building a huge new embassy on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad? This place is going to have swimming pools, shopping malls, car repair shops, gymnasiums, and all kinds of other luxuries. It will be completed in 2007, and will be the largest embassy in the world!
It overlooks the modest chambers of the current Iraqi government, which is obviously a visible sign of who really rules Iraq. Why spend millions of taxpayers' dollars for such a monumental construction project if we're going to be gone in just a few years?? By the way, the project is being built by a subsidiary of the Halliburton Corporation, Dick Cheney's former employer. -RKO-

Yes, but not for the reasons you listed.
We got into the war to get Saddam out of power and no longer a threat.
He is out of power and no longer a threat. We can leave now and let Iraq rebuilt ITSELF.
We don't owe them a rebuilding. We can just say "we deposed hussein, we won" and leave.
