I thought being quiet was a huge disadvantage for me, but it still doesn't account for getting such little attention from any of the girls I'm interested in. Even when a girl shows definite interest, it somehow dies after a short amount of time.

There's got to be more than just the fact that you're a quiet person. For instance, maybe when a girl shows interest in you, you are very clingy and pushy toward her. If you show a girl WAY too much interest, they might start to have second feelings.
Also, and don't take this personally, they might not be attracted to you. I believe there is a special person for everybody, so maybe you need a new haircut, or some new clothes, how are your teeth? Little things like that can make a big difference.
My suggestion, stop being so quiet, be more confident, and try to better your overall appearance.

Just be yourself. Lots of girls like quiet guys. Why not join groups or clubs that share your hobbies or interest. Chances are, you'd likely meet girls there that share the same interests as you. Good luck!

Dude don't go looking for many girls, simply find one fine girl give her all you attention and love and the rest will follow.
One girl with lots of love is worth more than 1000 girls.

Hey!!The same thing happens to me sometimes!!I will get all the interest from a boy but then after a while he disappears!!Maybe its just them!!!

try to think of a girl being one of your guy buddies,just relax and focus that you are with a buddy and slowly things will fall into place the way there meant to

there are plenty of fish in the sea... just lay da net and ull get one..
I had the same problem....Then I realized u have to do alot of things in life than to go around chasing women...girls think of us as mindless things who just want to screw....
just build up ur character and they will come begging after u....u`ll be fine...keep ur self occupied with other things than girls...like ur studies...

oh dont worry there is just give it time, its the same with me. (well except for the gender thing) im really quite but im nice and still guys dont like me. but i jus talk to th eone i like and show him i care.
