I'm not able to wear my contacts for now since I have some type of allergy :( I hate wearing my glasses (thought it made me look funny), but I seem to get a lot of attention when I am out with them. Why is that?

Its all about confidence. You can be really flirty with glasses. You can still bat your eyes. You can also take off your glasses for a minute and let a guy know you are checking him out or put the tip of one of the arms in your mouth and be very suggestive. Glasses can be fun!!

Some men find glasses extremely attractive on women. You will get attention from other people who wear glasses too, if you have a cute or unique pair. Suck it up and wear your glasses! I can wear my contacts only in the winter because of allergies and dry eyes.

It sounds like you're allergic to the proteins your eyes secrete, like I am. I wear dailies now, that is when I wear contacts. I wear my glasses too.
Perhaps your glasses just look strange to you. With the right frames, they can really draw attention to your eyes in a good way. I would expect that's the kind of attention you're getting.

Perhaps others think you look better with the glasses than without. It will just take you some time to get used to the change.

If you're getting attention from folks you see everyday it's because they're not used to seeing you with glasses...
If it's from strangers, either the glasses really complement you or you never updated those huge specs from the 80s....

Not a lot of people wear glasses.
It's better if you can make them unique and fun by getting frames that are stylish.
I wear glasses and contacts.

people are not used to seeing you wearing glasses and it being something new attracts attention. sometimes glasses make a person look more studious and interesting.

Tough one. I used to hate my glasses as well but I look more proffesional with them on more sophisticated, so I wear them to work and my contacts to the clubs, it all depends on your style and prefrence however, and they do take getting used to

if u r over 21 go see a doctor and ask about lasic eye surgery. get really cute glasses if u rnt old enough.maybe with pink frames or watever u like.
