My best friends husband cheated on her and got the other girl pregnet. Now he lives with that other girl. So my friend got over it and moved on but she just found out 2 days ago that the other women got a job were she works at. So now she is very nervous and wants to quiet her job of 12 years. I told her not to do it! Tell me what you think she should do?

Tell your friend the worst thing that she could do is quit her job. Why is she allowing this woman to defeat her? she already stole her husband and now she is allowing her to steal her job too?. I can imagine a situation like this she would want to run away from but tell her to stand up and not be defeated. In time the other woman will quit because she won't want to be labelled as the woman who stole your friend's husband. All the other co-workers are gonna look at her with scorn.

I would agree with you,, I do not think she should quit her job of 12 years. If she truely got over it and moved on she should be able to handle this. Im not sure what the job is,,will they work together or do they both work in the same building but will never work together or even have to speak to each other.

I would not walk away from a 12 year job which I worked hard at and if she does she will lose her pay more then likely, any benefits she has come to in those 12 years. To me it just wouldnt be worth losing that part of myself.
I wish her the best.

She could talk to the supervisor and explain the friction and ask that the two of them never work in the same department.
