I think red or black front doors always look great, but I guess that depends on what color your house is, and you give that part of the question to us.

Preferably beige, light yellow, or creme colored.
Anyone could prefer something different.
Note: Put potted plants and flowers at the front porch and a nice welcome mat. That way it means the place is inviting and well taken care of.

MIne was maroon when I got it but some say its a shade of pink. And I live in a blue house but it looks great.

light colours e.g white because if the person who likes the house but dosen't like the door colour can still paint over it.

Leave the door open and the light on when someone is going to look at your house. An open door says "welcome".
