They probably won't watch it, but they'll all be complaining about it. They watch CNN to get their talking points.

I find it odd that Richard Clarke works for ABC and tells them that it's inaccurate but ABC is going to run it anyway.

Clarke says:
1. Contrary to the movie, no US military or CIA personnel were on the ground in Afghanistan and saw bin Laden.

2. Contrary to the movie, the head of the Northern Alliance, Masood, was no where near the alleged bin Laden camp and did not see UBL.

3. Contrary to the movie, the CIA Director actually said that he could not recommend a strike on the camp because the information was single sourced and we would have no way to know if bin Laden was in the target area by the time a cruise missile hit it.

Clearly ABC is just trying to get conservatives to watch their show(s). They know that neocons are unable to accept anything that puts any kind of blame on their beloved Lord Bush. Neocons love lies, it appears...many believe there is a link between Saddam and 9-11 and that there were WMD's in Iraq.

That's ok, because the way I hear it, the "docudrama" will rightly place blame on Bush's inaction as well.

Regardless, I'll be watching the Discovery channel's programs on 9-11.

Sure, why not? I always read the book first and then form my opinion. A movie is the same thing. I don't have a problem with that. Why do you assume that everyone worships Clinton the way your ilk worships Bush? It's very simple, you do the crime, you do the time. I could give a sh*t what political party he or she represents. I would rather be well read and form my own opinions then use some one's "talking points." Do I make mistakes? Every single day and I also take responsibility for them. I really could care who agrees with me. It's called "free will."

First of all, I don't have cable, so no. But someone is taping it for me. Second, why do you assume that because we're liberal, some Clinton bashing will make us NOT watch? Clinton's inaction is common knowledge, thanks to the current administration, who constantly try to pawn their own mistakes off on him.
Seriously, though. If the program honestly and fairly presents the real truth, why would anyone be offended by it? (I hardly think that will happen, but you never know.) We have a right to know, don't we? Unlike NeoCons, we Democrats (well, some of us) can take a little bashing of our leaders like adults, rather than like petulant children.

why, is there some political information contained pertaining to the upcoming elections? Just wondering why you are asking liberals...unless you are saying that 9/11 was political, or that it was Clinton's fault.
Will you trust their account over the 9/11 commission report findings? Because they were charged with the task of investigating, and they are non-partisan

Notice all the discussion and news about this "entertainment event"?

Have you considered these politcal accusations may be a very clever approach by ABC to get lots and lots of free advertising for the show. So they can edit to to blandness now, and still get great ratings.

I was impressed just yesterday with the information linking Ben Ladan to the Muslim Brotherhood.

It looks like AlQueida is a front title to that old Egyptian Islamic Murder for Hire group that has been killing people for the last 100 years.

I'm sure that the liberals will watch it for the same reasong that a conservative like myself watched Fahrenheight 911.

It is entertaining to watch fiction that is claiming to be fact and to find the falsehoods in it.

At least ABC isn't lying like Michael Moore did. He claimed his film was a documentary and fact (which is a bold-faced lie if I've ever heard one). ABC is admitting that theirs is a "dramatization with fictioinal scenes".

ABC-Clinton, CBS-Bush, all more of the same media machine... Should be interesting to watch, though.

You know who else is enjoying this whole uproar almost as much as I am? Any Dems who think they would make a better presidential candidate than Hillary.
