I think it is great that you are dating your best friend. I wouldn't worry about it not working out. If you are truly best friends it will remain that way.

There are no guarantees that any relationship will work out. If we knew the answer to that, we'd all be rich.
Yes it is a good idea to date your best friend since you already like, trust and respect each other. A lot of the best couples started out as friends.

Good luck. I once dated a good friend. Sorry to say after almost 8yrs it didn't work out. I wanted kids and to be married and he wanted to continue to party. As long as you two want the same things I guess it could work out. We don't talk anymore and we both went our seperate ways. I got over it but it took some time.

It depends if both of you can stay best friends after a break up. I dated a best friend, and even though it didn't work out, we are still good friends.

If you've been friends for 2 years then dating shouldn't be much different just a few more perks. If it doesn't work out though you shouldn't worry to much because if you were truly friends to begin with then you should be able to forgive one another for almost anything.

For me this is a really hard question, because first being in a relationship is already hard and adding your best friend wow.... one down fall can be if you break up you won't be best friends anymore...... but you never know you can end up married with 10 kids and live happily ever after....lol

It worked for me 16 years now. Just remember to still respect each other the way you did when you were friends.

i think it's a big no-no.i experienced it before and after the first month everything changed. the jealousy started to kick in and we did not have fun like we had before the relationship.today we are
not even close to being friends.
that's my story but everybody is not the same so maybe it will work out for you.hope it does.
goodluck!!!!
