All the jokes were told while he was alive. His favorite was that he wanted to go out by crocodile attack, because everyone thought that's what would do him in, and he wanted to give them a good show.

Did you know he had the body of a 80 year old man? He had arthritis so bad. He was scared of winding up in bed on life support, but he did know how to live. My condolences go out to the family, and to the people of Austrailia.

I'm actually surpised and a little pleased that no one's telling Irwin jokes. There seems to be a lot of worldwide respect for the man. Me included.

There haven't been any funny ones yet. The only few that I have heard so far are quite lame, such as:

Perhaps sunscreen would have protected Irwin from those harmful rays.

Havent heard any yet with the exception of my friend Ryan. We were checking out some bands in New Haven last night and the first band, kind of this metal-core group was covering Rage Against the Machine. The end of the song is just screaming "bulllett in your heaaaadd!!!! a bullet your heaaad!!" several times to which my friend remarked they should have changed/updated the lyrics to "stingray in your heart!!!"

I think people should show respect where it is due, and learn to repect the dead. Steve Irwin's name should be respected.

I don't know I expected to see a lot of them...after all he will be missed and he really did put his heart into his work.

To all the peopl who commented about how awful this is, this kind of dark humor is a coping mechanism.
