it makes me a little depressed 'cause that's the age when you should be having fun, earning money and be happy about what you can do with it. i'm done with one diploma but unfortunately you also have to think about the financial aspect of your life, not just what gives you pleasure.

The way it is in the "workplace" these days is that you need a college education PLUS a specialization (whether it be an MBA or a DDS, or an RN or a law degree, IT specialist, etc.)

You asked about something "new". No, if I were you I wouldn't sway much from what college education you already have. You are in the stage of honing your efforts, not creating new ones.

Think to yourself, will the time and money I expend for more education have a good return for me and my future. And are the interest rates too high to do that, or do that at this point in my life when I should have already gained for myself a house, a car, and a partner and family. Then don't waste your money. Pick up a course here and there and then open your own business. Managers aren't trained anymore if they are age 35 or over, and at 45 you'll start to find it difficult to start a new job.

You are never to old to learn. Learn and grow as much as you can. I am 49 yrs old and am working on my second master's degree. After I complete this one (next year) I will get my certification in addiction counseling and who knows where I will go from there. Thirty two is young. You can still have fun and be happy. Even if you don't do anything with the degree, at least you will have it in the event that something comes up where you will be able to use it. Life is a learning experience. Take in all that you can--you'll be a better person for it. Good Luck!!!!

How old will you be by that time if you don't go back to college? I believe, at the age of 52, that joy in your career is the most important thing you can consider. I also believe that there are few things in life more enjoyable than learning. If you can afford it, I say "Go for it". However, if your main motive is to earn more, then I would suggest career counseling, so you can use your existing knowledge, perhaps add a little more, and still love your job.

You are never too old to learn,I've seen people a lot older than you going back to college and if they can do it,so can you. 32 is not old at all,I'm 35 and I'm not ready for the grave yet. There are more 30 somethings going back to school and I think that is wonderful. It used to be years ago that people just wanted to stick to that one specific job with that one specific title but nowadays people are finding themselves bored with what they have been doing for so many years and just decide that they want to make that career change so you go for it and be the best you can be.

No, it is not wrong. If that is what you want to do, then do it. There is nothing wrong in a person who wants to learn, but much too much wrong in those who believe they know everything and refuse to learn new things. Good luck you.
When you are done with you additional education, you shall be wiser.

WHO'S "RULEBOOK" ARE YOU READING?

YOU SHOULD MAKE YOUR OWN STANDARDS, NOT LIVE BY THE STANDARDS OF OTHERS. IF YOU DO THAT, YOU WILL ALWAYS FAIL. THAT'S WHY YOU MAKE YOUR OWN. DO WHAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU.

32 IS YOUNG. IT IS ALSO WHEN A LOT OF PEOPLE REALIZE THAT THEY ARE NOT LIVING THE WAY THEY WANT TO BE LIVING, BECAUSE THEY TOOK THE PATH CHOSEN BY OTHERS. IT HAPPENS AGAIN IN YOUR 50'S.....

DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. WHO CARES ABOUT THE JONSE'S? LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOU.
