I don't think that we moan and complain any more than men. How many wives have to listen to how their husband's day went when their husbands get home? Isn't that moaning and complaining? I think it's more a matter of perception. If a woman complains she's being b!tchy, if a man complains he's venting. I recall my years of highschool debate. When I would get authoritative in a round I usually got a bad score. I didn't cut off my opponents any more than they cut me off. I didn't speak louder. I wasn't any ruder. But people viewed me as "b!tchy". I don't think i'm anymore done by than men, however, I am done by....everyone is.
As to your second question, I think that we ought to go back to the old days in a way. Make it so that one spouse can stay home, but not necessairly the woman but either the wife our husband.

It's not really that we are complaining its just that things today and back then are not fair.
Imagine you work a job for about 5 years perfect attendance, never call off, always works late even weekends , always goes the extra mile. A promotion comes up and you sign up for the interview and they give it to someone who is not qualified, always late, calls off all the time, the only reason they got the position was because of their gender. How would you feel?
You see the problem is not us its not being treated fairly because we are women. And as far as the old days, if you go back far enough to Shakespearean times when you men had complete power, you still would be mad because men where the ones in plays and in charge of all entertainment; so if you are OK with watching repeats of brokeback mountain in different scenarios than that's cool.

Of course you would want to go back to the old days but women are way too smart for that now. Tough luck buddy, the free ride is over. Now you can see how it feels.
