My Top 10 Missed Shows:
10. Missed my ride to Alice Cooper / ZZ Top (1973)
9. "Why see Skynyrd? They'll be around forever" (1976)
8. "9 hours in line, come back tomorrow? Screw McCartney"
7. "Drive to Cleveland? Zeppelin will be around forever" (1975)
6. "I've already seen Pink Floyd twice, save my money" (1993)
5. "Can't afford Tom Petty tickets" (1982)
4. "We'll never get into this club" (Chuck Berry at The Hop, 1989)
3. Blizzard of Oz tour hit town on my birthday, party plans (1980)
2. Had ride but no permission to go to Woodstock (I was 10)
1. In Seattle for a convention July 4th weekend 1990 - couldn't convince any of the people I was in town with (ESPECIALLY the guy who had rented the car) to go to a club & check out this show we saw advertised in a shop window: "Temple of the DOG!! Andrew Wood tribute show" - Soundgarden, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, and Mookie Blalock (who later changed their name to Pearl Jam)
HONORABLE MENTION - had a ticket to the In Through The Out Door tour, but then Zeppelin wasn't around anymore.

Yes. I had a chance to see the Blues Brothers (with Belushi) at the Summitt in Houston but passed it up to save a few bucks...

Turned out all my friends went and had a great time...

Hell yes, passed many concerts and still regret it. Many bands on their way up, now they probably won't come back.
