i was in my living room watching cnn news when i saw the scroll reporting his death....i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

“It comes as no marvel in any respect that Steve Irwin ought to die frightening a unfavourable animal,” says PETA’s Dan Mathews. “He made a profession out of antagonizing worried wild animals, this is an extremely risky message to deliver to childrens.” Does Irwin’s profession as a naturalist galvanize the animal-rights team? Says Mathews “in case you evaluate him with a in charge conservationist like Jacques Cousteau, he feels like a low-priced actuality television famous individual.” ...i've got lost my activity in PETA now. Irwin grew to become right into a different being concerned idol for many. PETA must be extra respectful.

I was in the bath taking a shower when I heard the news that
announced Steve Irwin was killed by the deadly barb of a
stingray. What a way to die! Once in a million chance for many
of us to be killed this way.

Not really...all I remember thinking was how bizarre it all was...he lived an odd life and died an odd death. He was bizarre and what he did was bizarre. I could never touch an animal the way he did so it's all freakish to me. I'm sorry for them all but still the whole thing was really weird. I guess he went doing what he loved and it was quick and who could ask for more.

Yes at work, listening to the radio ,it came up on the news,i was shocked and gutted when i heard because he was a truly great bloke. The ppl who are making light of his death with sick jokes remember he had a family, he saved thousands of animal's lifes and he gave millions pleasure with his tv programmes. The ppl who find his tragic death funny its a shame it wasnt you instead of him,hes a loss to the world, you are not.
