Wheres a good place to pick-up a nice chic? (not into the bar scene or the church thing neither)????

Classes (college or special interest), libraries (don't laugh), if you play golf the clubhouse is a good place to look (not exactly a "bar"), community events or outdoor concerts, bookstores, coffee houses or cafe's, casinos, bingo, etc.
Here's some unsolicited advice: a woman can sense when a man's on the hunt and therefore we usually avoid him on sight. Look like you're there because you *want* to be, smile, relax and don't make a move or say a silly pick up line because, trust me, we've heard just about all of them... and I'd almost wager a woman will come talk to you. It's really effortless if you do it right :)

A nice restaurant, at a Fair, the library, At the water front, Fund raiser events. At the college or university, Ball games, Malls, Look at the community news paper, and see where the dances will be at, weddings etc. this is a start, I hope that you fine someone.

The best place is through friends or co workers--people you know. Next time you hang out with people hang out with those that have single women friends....
Another thing that worked:
My friend met his girlfriend at a gas station. He thought she was cute and asked for her number--she gave it to him (in return for a cigarette) and they have been together ever since!...so you never know. If you see a girl you are attracted to go for it, regardless of where you are at. You may get a no, but that's probably the worse that will happen.

I don't know - you could give them a try. I don't know where to pick up men, either - like you I don't care for the bar scene & the youngest single man at my church is a world war 2 veteran!!
