I'm having to answer so many questions, 700+ points or something, why?

You should not bother what level you are at just enjoy asking and getting some good answers, and also you can give good answers to others then it will surprise you how it will move on to next level when asking more also when you get best answer it gives you 10 points so don't bother about the levels as you don't get anything..

Key in advancing a level.
1. Be patient.
2. Be polite.
3. Answer at the categories you're most familiar with.
4. Provide your best answer/solution to the question as much as possible.
You're right in saying that, it does take awhile to move a level. Wait till you get to level 3 and try for level 4, it's even harder. The trick is, if you can provide good answers to the questions, then you'll quickly move up a level.

1000 points for level 3. Like many others, posting a question will make you lose points not gain. Get some good answers and you'll be on your way.

why do you care? levels and points are worthless. if you get caught playing for points your answers will be deleted.
answering questions will get you to 3 slowly. answering questions with the correct answers and being chosen as best answer will get you there much quicker.
i started in february so it takes a long time to get on level 7. it took me 5 months.

Don't ask questions. Answer alot of questions to the best of your ability. I started this yesterday and I'm nearly level 2.

Because that the way the levels are set by yahoo...
I guess they are hoping the quality of best answers are better...thus easier to attain.

you will reach level 3 quicker if you stop asking questions...each time you ask a question it takes 5 points of you...

because your wasting your points on this question everytime you ask a question it takes away 5 points! next time ask a question only if it is seriously important if you didnt know what i just told you well it was worth asking this question because now you know not to ask so many questions!!!!!!
