There are many cosmetic creams and lotions out there; nearly all contain bleach, and some don't work. Some work at first and then stop, for some reason. And some can cause permanent whitening which looks just as odd. Have to be very, very careful!
One that is a cut above the rest however is a Japanese one called "Haku" . I went to my local drugstore and used their sample bottle every day for about a month, and it got rid of a discoloured scar I have had for years! But then, I live in Japan ... Maybe you can find it on the net?
As I couldn't afford to buy the "Haku" I have no link to give you; but do try to check out any Japanese products for this if you can; pigmentation and melanin discolourations are a common problem here and the Big Name Cosmetic Companies are all reputable and trying to compete for this market.
Some of these names are not Japanese companies, but the products are designed for the market here.
Check out:
Shiseido
Kanebo
Obagi (Japan)
Haku

P.S. I started with Fade-Away and it worked at first; but the problem came back soon.
