She's a really great girl. We have a lot of fun together. The problem is she used to date my friend and I could never do that to him, even if he told me he was fine with it. I've been in that situation before and it's really awkward. Is there anyway I can cool her jets and still stay friends.

Just calmly explain how you feel about the situation, I've been there before and I know how awkward the situation can be. But if she doesnt understand than she really isnt your friend. And if she is your friend like you say she is than she should respect your decisions, as well as her ex.

if that doesnt work just tell her you're gay... j/k

hope it helps

It's not that hard of an answer. You tell her you just want to be friends. If she really values your friendship then she will understand. Friends are hard to find these days, fu*ck buddies come and go like yesterdays mail. What if ya end up having sex, 1 time or 20 times maybe on the 13th time something goes wrong, like she gets to attached and wants more and you don't. That right there could end the "The Great Girl, We have lots of fun together " thing. But it sounds like she's willing to risk it. Or maybe that's what she does, just jumps from one friends bed to another. You gotta watch out for girls like that. They up to no good! In the end it's up to you to make her understand that you just don't sex up your friends ex-woman.

Women are emotional. Probably no way to cool her jets without hurting her feelings. You gotta ask yourself which one is more important to you.

For the record I would never date a girl my friend had dated in the past either

Just tell her in a nice way that you are not into her that way. That she use to date ur friend and that you can not do that to him or her
because it would make you feel awkward and that you do not want to hurt that friend. But then tell her that we still can remain friends if you want. Then tell that you are really really sorry about it. But make sure you tell her face to face and not over the phone.

You need to have to talk with her. If she is a friend she will understand if not then shes not worth the friendship. or maybe shes just horny and finds you attractive.
