The fact is, the American civil war had the most deaths. It is estimated that 700,000 soldiers lost their lives in the civil war. That remains the highest casualty count of any war.

World War II, I think, had the most deaths. I think it was around a million on our side. But if you count all deaths, WWI had a lot of deaths due to sickness during the war. I think like 500000 people died of an epidemic in the US while we were at war and that war didn't last all that long!

in ww1 and 2 there were less deaths than today.all the world seem to be having wars and statics show more people have died through terrosim.from mikhal in israel
