I doubt I am. I mean the condom never broke. Anyway, for the first time in my life I am spotting, or else starting a second period in one month, I really dont' know which it is. I have also felt like a bottomless pit of hungery yesterday. He's afraid this means I could be pregnant. I just had a papsmear, on tuesday, so I don't know the results yet. It is my first papsmear ever. I am not on birthcontrol, however, I did just get my first perscription filled. I have not yet begun taking it, because I know you are supposed to wait until the first day of your period. I didn't know if I was spotting or starting a second period, so I didn't start it yet. What is going on??

Honey, it is probably the pap smear that caused you to spot. I wouldn't even give it another thought. You are being cautious and smart. Pap smears can cause spotting, cramping and even full bleeding. You will be fine.

Now might be good time to examine what you want from this relationship with this particular guy.
What if you are pregnant? Would he step up? Would you want him to? Would you opt for adoption, raising it, abortion? What would he opt for? Have you discussed these things? If not, now might be a good time.
A woman having unprotected sex can have as many as 20-25 children in her lifetime. I know you say you use protection every time, but they DO leak, break, and then there is pre-ejaculation goo that makes a damn fine baby. Every time you have sex, you are raising your likelihood of having a litle visitor that won't go away. EVER
You need to have this conversation with anyone you are intimate with for more than a couple of months. My point is HE has an emotional stake in what happens to that baby.
If you have sex with a person for a couple of months, he probably wouldn't care what you did with his sperm-child.
My 20-year-old son had condom-protected sex with a girl who SAID she was on pill. ONE TIME!! Then they broke up, because she was too needy and clingy, etc.
The granddaughter I will never meet is named Millay. It hurts!
I have no pictures, no input, no chance to send presents. All I know about her is that my son has to pay child-support to a girl for 18 years and can see his daughter every other wekend, if he stays in her town. My son will not tell me her name or address, because he doesn't want me to get involved.
This is the most painful event to happen to our family in a very long time.
You might be pregnant. Probably not. When you are young, periods are wacky often- sometimes 2 a month. Sometimes go for 6 weeks in-between. Don't worry and stress about it.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!

Take a pregnancy test when your next period is due - if you don't get it (as it would be too soon to test at this point).

And remember, even if the condom doesn't break, NO method of birth control is 100% effective - EVER. Efficacy rates for condoms range from 86-97% - something to contemplate.

I doubt you're pregnant but just take a pregnancy test anyway.
LAMBSKIN? What's wrong with the normal ones? Lambskin isn't as effective as latex condoms.

the condom doesn't have to break for sperm to get through it, so many condoms, I think 4 in 100, are allowed to have holes in them. Condoms are not 100% even if they are used correctly.

work of advice, don't have sex until you are ready for the consequences. I'm not trying to preach, just trying to be realistic!

Uuuuhhhhh. Do you have a doctor's opinion that he has no sign of stds? You aren't qualified to make that judgement. You realize that they call women who rely on condoms, "mommy," right?
