One of my favorite shows...and movie.

But no, I do not ever remember the bear as having a name and cannot find a reference on line.

Nope, as far as I know, it didn't...wish it did though...

You know, I'm surprised that Mattel or Steiff NEVER came out w/ a toy replica of that famous bear during the entire run of "M.A.S.H."...it would've been a true TV collectible for antique lovers worldwide...

Officially, no. The writers never actually named the bear. But rumor has it that Gary Burghoff named it Walter after his character.

His teddy bear really never had a name, just "Bear" or "Teddy bear".
