Quite easily.
The space needed would depend how tightly you squeezed everyone together. If you allowed one square yard for each person they would occupy an area of approximately 2,100 sqaure miles but if you squashed everyone together and they took up one square foot of space then they'd fit into an area of just 233 square miles.
Ireland has an area of approx 26,600 square miles so loosely packed in you could fit the world's population into Ireland 12 times over, squeezed in they'd go about 114 times over.
The Isle of Wight is 147 square miles so it could be done but it would be tight and those at the edge would risk falling into the sea.
The above is based on a world population of 6.5 billion.

According to estimates published by the United States Census Bureau, the Earth's population reached 6.5 billion on Saturday, February 25, 2006.
Area of Ireland is 32,591 square miles.
1 square mile is equivalent to: 3,097,600 square yards
1 person per square yard which converts to 3,097,600 persons per square mile, will be quite tight to stand but possible,
so
32,591 square miles x 3,097,600 person per square mile equals
approximately 101.0 billions which is significantly less then 6.5 billions presently living.

Not sure, but watch out for your post delivery person. They are filling envelopes as I write with invitations in an attempt to prove or disprove this very theory.

Yes. And if we could get them all to jump 1 foot in the air at the same time, it would change the Earth's orbit when they land.
