You are talking about dying your pubic hair, right? Do you know any hair stylists you are comfortable with? I would have a professional do this in a private setting. This may sound crazy, but tattoo artists are generally pretty comfortable with their bodies, and tend to know other stylists. If you have a friend of a friend that does either (tattoo or stylist) find a girl you are comfortable with and just have her do it. God knows what kind of rash you'd wind with if you used some over the counter dye.

Cut a peice of the carpet out and take it to the curtain store to mach it up. When done simply glue the plug you took from the carpet back in place. SIMPLE
