The roasts on comedy central (Pamela Anderson, Dennis Leary, William Shatner) have been very very bad. A bunch of no name comedians who have to swear and be filthy to get a laugh.

I was wondering if anyone has seen the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts and which of his roasts were the funniest?

Thanks,
a

I am very disappointed with the comedy central roasts. They get celebrities that aren't more than acquaintances with the person being roasted and then pay them to roast each other. I

have to admit that I still watch them because they make me laugh my @$$ off, but it's gotten so far away from what a roast used to be (you know, back when a roast was about making fun of the person being roasted).

Gosh I saw quite a few back then of Dean Martin and loved them all except for Pam Anderson whom I can't stand, Dennis Leary and Will Shatner were aweful I agree.

I am old enough to remember when they first premiered. I can remember some of them. I saw the one with Drew Carey and I love drew, but the roast was on comedy central...not good

I remember some of them. I thought the Sinatra one was very funny because even though the performers were making jokes you could see that they were in awe of him, and a little afraid to be too disrespectful.
