I'm not sure where these folks got their info but doxycycline is used to treat severe acne.

Doxycycline is used to treat Acne,bacterial infections urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and periodontal disease. It is a tetracycline, avoid the sun!!!

good for tick borne diseases...not for the deer tick disease, but one that I cannot think of...also good for rosacea
