During my Bachelor Party (11 years ago and the one and ONLY time I ever went to a strip club), every stripper that gave me a lap dance said I was going to make a good husband. I thought this was the biggest compliment because who would know sleazy men better than strippers! I used this once during a humorous argument with my wife and she said she didn't think much of it.

Look, I didn't pay for a single dance. During the whole dance I was more curious about what their lives were like, why they did it, what their boyfriends thought, then I was in their actual dance.

Big suprise! Women especially strippers lie
When I was a kid on the streets I had to hook to eat.
Told this big fat old man he was the best lover I ever had.
Actually I went in the bathroom and throw up.
He gave me 50 bucks. Why do they do that? Because it works.

I have to agree with everyone here. And the fact they YOU YOURSELF were not paying for the dance means nothing- someone else probably was. The stripper KNEW it was your bachelor party, and it is their JOB to keep you there as long as possible. The longer you and your friends are there, the more you will spend there. End of story.

Really....how can a total stranger know what kind of husband you will be???? How?????

Worked in a club when I was younger. We had job rules to live by.

1. Turning down ANY customer for a dance was grounds for IMMEDIATE termination.

2. Keep the customers in the building as long as possible. Encourage them to buy you a drink as well. If you do not want alcohol, we had to get a club soda or something. We were NEVER allowed to turn down drink offers.....

3. Keep up the fantasy...... get it??? FANTASY!

And of course there were others, but i think you get the point.

Yeah, you can take it as a compliment, but I would not-I know strippers will tell you anything to get money, (er, more money) our of you and keep you in the club as long as they possibly can-so I would not feel too flattered because I am sure that she tells that to all the guys----just a thought-why are you still thinking about this 11 years later?

I wouldnt necessarily say it was a compliment. We all know that strippers idea of a good man is the crack dealer down the road so I dont know why you would think this actually meant something. Sure, it prolly felt good knowing that someone thought you were going to be a good husband, but I dont really think that it would be genuine. Hey, the more compliments the better the tips.

A stripper's job is to get money from you. They will tell you whatever it takes for you to buy a lap dance. Don't pay any attention to what they say, they think you're a pervert.

did you ever stop to think the strippers were just buckin for a big tip? Think about it, how in the heck would they have any idea of what kind of husband you would make?? Or do you think because they were on your lap they were commenting on your "size?" Yeah, like THAT makes a good husband.

Sorry if that bursts your little bubble.

Hello... Strippers are in the "service industry"... They're well-versed in kissing up to the clients. So are servers in restaurants, and similar professions. This is the nature of their job - not to say they don't enjoy it, but you have to take any "compliments" they give you with a grain of salt.

And I certainly wouldn't bring up such a thing while talking to your wife. It's a tactical mistake.

She wanted you to keep putting 20 dollar bills in her G-String love, she would of told you that you would make a great President if she needed too. Your wifes right. It doesn't mean anything. And anyway you were at a strip club, that is the first sign of a rotten hubby. :)

Frankly, I would take anything a stripper said with a grain of salt.
