Keep it real.
Slow and simple is the way to go.
I'd say something like Jack Johnson - Inbetween Dreams. It's slow and gentle, perfect for intimacy etc.
Or you could go retro and get some Barry White? His greatest hits are out (entitled 'The Collection). Very romantic.

Anything too over the top is too much pressure. Skip Barry White and Sade.....Go with Puddle of Mud and Buck Cherry, it is more fun :)
