say that someone was beating th **** outta you, so you beat him ack... if you kill him in the act its self-defence. Or say like he pulls a knife on you... then you take the knife and kill him its the same thing... So basically if you kill someone that was rying to kill you its self defence

Defending your self when someone wants to cause harm to you.If someone keeps hitting you,are you going to take it and let them keep hitting you or are you going to hit back and get them to stop?Thats self defense.One aspect of it anyway.
