How about expecting your company to insure all of your 30 wives?

Dogs and goldfish can not consent. That is a little silly.

Additional details, most companies are making people pay for part of their insurance and rates go up for more kids, so more wives would cost you more too.

1. In most states, gays are already allowed to adopt. No studies have shown that this is any harm to the kids.

2. Many people live in group-marriage-type arrangements that are no harm to anyone involed. It is when people are forced into such things, raped, beat, and kept confined to a compound or house that it becomes an issue. These things would be illegal even in a legal marriage.

3. Why not? See above.

4. Dogs and goldfish can not enter into a legally binding contract, which is all a legal marriage really is.

yea...adopting kids into same sex homes... why not...i dont see how there's any greater chance in them "creating" homo kids... i mean Heteros been making homos for AGES... (i should kno im one of those hetero products hahaha)

polygamous marriages...as long as they aren't doing anything wrong...(and this goes for both same sex and polyagmous marriages) if there's no forms of abuse...why not...

ok now the animal thing...problem as someone said they can't consent to it...so how can u marry someone or something that can't approve or deny the union...

and gettin insurance for ur 30 wives... well i think the insurance should only cover 1 ...cause outta the 30 u gotta have a main chick...hahaha

now all the kids produced from those marriages should be insured tho

As a friend of mine once said :
"I'm not against gays getting married, I believe everyone should have a right to be as miserable as I am."

Probably funnier if you knew this person..but that's besides the point. As someone noted, all marriage is technically is a legally binding contract. The argument that " the bible says it's a sin" is weak, as if I remember correctly, the chruch is not to intervene with state. Secondly, even if the two were allowed to mix to say that the Christian bible was the set doctrine to which we were to base laws upon goes against our right to choose our religon.

IN addition, Jesus had nothing to say about homosexuality,if we are to follow what "he would do" then....

And even though I am not what you would call pro-polygamy, this is an interesting article:

and last but not least, how would any of these unions hurt you personally?
Hmmmm...more children allowed to be adopted?
Wow, that's going to be a BIG blow to your life.
