I have a spagghetti-strap knee-length black dress with some black studs on it...quite simple, but i don't know what accessories to wear with it. it's for a formal dinner. any tips?

for a simple and elegant look u can opt for a pearl set. u can also experiment with other jewellery (diamonds, semi precious stones, crystals or white gold) make sure u focus on any one piece (earings/ choker/ bracelet) and keep the rest simple. u can pin ur hair up for the utlra glam and formal look too. nice pointed shoes with heels would look fab.

I would wear a wrap over it so that you're not showing too much skin for a formal dinner. Then make the rest of your accessories simple with maybe a little bit of sparkle. But you don't need much because of the studs.

For a formal dinner, a black dress with pearls. Pearl earrings and a necklace and a bracelet that would look great. Then get yourself a black handbag and black shoes. How does that sound?

Some rhinestone earrings would be a good choice, if you wanted to go with costume jewelry. A bracelet with the same type of stone would be nice as well.
Another idea would be to wear any vintage jewelry you have stashed away, that always looks nice with a black dress.

Silver or gold. ( I love silver and black) Not too much though. Lacy choker style necklace with matching earrings...maybe a simple bracelet. No rings - unless you're married or engaged or have an awesome right hand ring you never take off.

well if it 4 formal dinner then u need like a nice black or white stone chandelier earrings. if ur not a earring person then you can go for thin layered necklaces silver or golden. black stilletos and a black clutch. don't over accessorize.

Pick a fun color for your heels and match them to a flower hair clip. I saw someone wear a plain black dress with hot pink shoes and a hot pink flower clip in her hair and it was really cute.

it's look bette' when u combine it wid sum shiny stuffs like diamond necklace and earings. BUT (ther's alwys a but) DO NOT use too much accessories.. that'll look so much bad..!! have a nys try..!! gud luck
