SIDE EFFECTS: Terbutaline can cause side effects including palpitations, fast heart rate, elevated blood pressure, tremor, nausea, nervousness, dizziness, and heart burn. Throat irritation and nose bleeds can also occur with the inhaled preparation. Other, less common side effects include headache, nausea/vomiting, anxiety, restlessness, lethargy, drowsiness, excessive sweating, and muscle cramping. Like other beta adrenergic stimulants, terbutaline may cause chest pain, taste alterations and dry mouth.

Terbutaline is primarily used to relax the bronchial tubes in asthmatics, but is also used off-label to stop contractions in pre-term labor.

Its side effects are rapid heart rate, jitteriness, and tremors.

I'm guessing you mean terbutaline or brethine in which case looking at drugs.com won't help since you weren't spelling it correctly. If that is indeed the drug you are referring to it isn't used for preterm labor.

Go to your local pharmacist and ask him to print up the side effects of this drug. Or go to your local book store, find a book about medications and look it up. They both should be helpful.
