No its capitalism and selfishness that has done this to us.
In this country the only thing that matters is money.
Look how great Russia is doing with their new "freedom"
You have to remember when a politician says freedom its an empty word used to blind people into doing what you want.
If you want to appreciate our freedoms, ask an immegrant what it means to be free, most aren't as jaded, at least not right away.

Well, if you live here in this awful U.S.A.,and you don't like it.Then we invite you to leave, and go where you think you will be happier. But a person such as yourself will find fault no matter where you go.Because if EVERYONE you meet here in the U.S.A. is like that, then perhaps you need to take a look in the mirror, and think about changing your outlook. There will be people with all those faults and then some no matter where you go.So maybe it's the company you keep. But the invitation is still open.

Good stereotyping.
But let a crisis happen, and look at which nation's populace is usually quickest to open their hearts and wallets. Americans are, on the whole, good-hearted and charitable people. True, American government can seem out of control at times, but as is true with any nation, governmental policies do not always reflect the true nature of its citizens. Most Americans are law-abiding, peaceful people.

There's that mysterious "they" again, the non-caring, abusive and aggressive among us. Where are they? Many of us are peaceful, live lightly on the earth, conserve nature, can read write and spell, love our neighbors.. We reject being painted with the broad brush of offensive generalization. Meet some more Americans and you will be pleasantly surprised. Our freedom is prized and we work hard to maintain it.

Erm....Go to France... please.. live there for a while and see how THOSE people are? M'kay? Not only are they all of the above, but they're cockier than Americans. You dont even have to go to France to see that, in fact, just go to the eastern part of Canada and see how that act. Especially towards Americans.
And thats not even a question that you posted, its a statement
