Before giving me an Ipod for my Birthday, my sister loaded it up with songs from her Macbook pro.. I have a laptop PC which means if I want to use it to put songs into my Ipod, I have to reformat it for PC and lose everything!! Why can't I add to the songs I already have instead of erasing them all and starting over???
YIKES!!!!

When you reformat, reformat using the FAT file system so you can transfer later. If you can, transfer your files back onto the Mac, or just have that done after you re-format, and you should be okay.
