China and India? What a joke. The chief complaint among democrats about the economy is that wages are not up to par. Are the wages good in India or China?

Again for all those that say plenty of economies are better, with all factors considered, name ONE country.

Brand X- In an economy in which the economy is redistributed, as you desire, the economy will shrink over time, not slowly expand. During the Carter administration, taxes on those who made over 200,000 WAS 70%. So, if you made 200k, you would only take home 60k. That's fair, right? In that situation, there is no incentive for small businesses to grow their businesses, and unemployment increased as well.

playtoofast- What's the unemployment rate in the countries you are talking about? 15%? Have you heard they're having trouble paying for those beloved social programs? There are plenty of good paying jobs here, but the economy is changing. We have a knowledge based economy. The problem is the lack of higher education, but you can't make people go to college.

eva b- You're right we pay too much in taxes in this country. So which party supports tax cuts and which one supports even higher taxes?

43- So if you lived in China you would earn a better living? No, you wouldn't. The funny thing is, if you did live there, you're probably not allowed to complain about your wages.

Jesi's right... and she's right about the democratic propaganda. Brand X just proved it, the democrats are all about the redistribution of wealth. the democrats don't like the economy because they are against capitalism, they are marxist socialists.

There are many countries with a much stronger economy than the US. And everyday getting stronger as the US continues to sink $ into the wars in the east. China and India are expanding economies and will soon over shadow the US, wack up America.

Yes China

We gave them our children in exchange for endless plastic junk.

That'll teach those oil Barron's to try to take over America.

I can't wait until America starts speaking Chinese. I always thought the Schools should start teaching CSL. So the next generation of Americans can speak to their overlords (that's Chinese for boss)

YES you are right to point out the cost of gas in europe but they do not drive near as much as we do.
THEY have a better public transportation system and better rights for the people to choose what they want to do with there own bodies .THEy do not have millions of homeless in the streets begging for change or an average work week of 45 hours .THEy have a 37 hour work week and 3 weeks paid vacation along with medical coverage how dare we complain about working harder and having less .WHAT is wrong with us .

Yes they pay more for gas.BUT, they have free GREAT health care including medication,6 weeks paid vacation, work less hours with higher pay with longer lunch breaks, they pay a lot less tax then we do including income and property tax ,free or very low cost university education, and they get a lot more for their euro then we do for our dollar.Oh their Senior citizens are more protected and they treat their veterans better..
I believe our country can do this and more for its people.

Which is better...an fast growing economy with unequal distribution of wealth like America or a slower growing economy with much more even distribution? That's the real question.

Oh, this is one of those rhetorical questions. I was all ready to say what you just did. I've said all along the economy is not nearly as bad as the Democratic propaganda machine would lead you to believe.

The US has had it so good for so long, that when it isn't quite what we want, we whine like a bunch of babies. Especially the Demorats.

Why do you hate our troops? If you don't support the war, you can't support the troops. Why do you want to cut and run? If we don't fight terror abroad, we'll have to fight it at home.
