Yes sorry but they are bad.. Depends on the age of the child as well.. Most sport drinks brag about electrolyte replenishing.. when in fact they are sodium/sugar Bombs with plenty of Artificial Colors and preservatives.. want to drink something healthy drink distilled water.. if you need sweetness buy a juicer and Juice fresh oranges and bananas. That will truly replace the electrolytes while giving you a nice shot of potassium, also try to buy "Organic"..
Peace

Gatorade has been around for several decades, and isn't in the same class as the "power drinks" that are so popular today. Gatorade was developed to replenish electrolytes in the body.
Power drinks give the consumer a "rush" in the form of sugar and caffeine.
The only concern about Gatorade would be the same for any other consumable item... all things in moderation.

If you drink it when you are extremely active and need the calories and benefits - then no problem. Beware, it has as many calories as a soft drink so it is not good to replace water with it when you are not active to the point of sweating.

it's good if you do sport all the time... but if not it's really bad 'cause it is Water and Sugar (and i think that nowadays young boys don't need so much sugar)..
