Americans have been dumded down by the 'establishment' as a whole. Americans do not know what good entertainment is anymore.

The majority of Americans do not, I repeat, do not want to be challenged by a movie. They want to sit down and veg themselves away rather than walk away from a movie thinking about what the movie meant.

Personally, I don't see why people wouldn't want to be constantly challenged by film. It has one of the more readily accessible mediums of art. Everyone can go see a movie. Not everyone can go to France to check out the Mona Lisa.

I don't get it.

Haven't seen any of Will Farrel's movies, I think he pretty much sucks. But there's no accounting for taste; the French were crazy about Jerry Lewis!

That would be the red states. They are manipulated by the media to remain simpletons who vote Republican and laugh at Will Ferrell and Larry the Cable Guy.

I thought this was a really funny movie, it was just great fun made at NASCAR expense, if they can laugh at it we should be able to find the humor in it, and trust me there was plenty.

You're assuming that ALL Americans like movies like that. Lots of us DO NOT, including myself. Don't stereotype a lot of us based on what many of us might do...
