i need to write about crime in victorian england a i can't find anything that good. does anyone know a good website to go on.

It's a very complicated and long winded topic to ask about on Yahoo...and you haven't given enough info...what kind of Victorian People? Upper class? Middle Class? Working Class? The people working in industrial slums or cottage industry in East London? What part of London? What jobs? The subject is vast. Try asking a more specific question that would point you in the right direction in your research. fuzzy wuzzy's suggestion of Victorian web was ace. it's the only one we're really allowed to use (not quote!) in our classroom discussions. JSTOR (if you have access at UNI/College/School) is just incredible and has sources from academic journals that can be cited in essays. But it's not easy reading, and you really should do your own work or when confronted by your teacher she/he will know you haven't formed your own opinions because you don't have the background information to back it up.
