My point is that those who go against what our government is doing, may be hurting our country. The pres and his staff know, see and hear more than they will ever tell. We cannot expect to know, hear or see all they know because if that happened the terrorist would also know, hear and see it all.

Yes. We are engaged in a war for the very survival of the Western Way of Life. These terrs want EVERYONE in the world who isn't a fundamentalist Muslim to be dead. They must destroy the US before they can destroy the rest of the world because only we have the muscle to oppose them. Learn, know and believe this: The Islamic terrs want you DEAD, your mom and dad DEAD, your older sister and your little brother DEAD, your grandma and grandpa DEAD, all your aunts and uncles DEAD, all your friends DEAD, your girlfriend DEAD, your boyfriend DEAD, all your teachers DEAD, all your favorite movie stars and recording artists DEAD, et cetera. They want everyone who disagrees with them DEAD. They want you to embrace Wahabi Islam or DIE. No ifs, ands or buts. Convert to Islam or you are DEAD. Get it?

And can you believe that there are Americans, mostly liberal Democrats who, by opposing Bush and the war at every turn, agree with this for political gain? Well, it's true. Just ask John Murtha or Charles Schumer. Hillary isn't saying anything yet, but I have my suspicions...

What our president is doing is looting our treasury, gutting our military, and emboldinging terrorists. The occupation of Iraq has diverted attention from Afghanstan, where the real terrorists are based, and it has given the terrorists a new breeding ground as well as an ideal terrorism training opportunity.

This is the price we pay for electing draft dodgers (legal dodges, but still dodges) to the posts of President and Vice President. We have an incompetent Commander in Chief, so unless we take action, we shouldn't expect the war to be handled properly. Unfortunately, we can't act until the fall. Let's hope that enough Americans have learned that this adminstration and this Congress is not capable of leading this country.

Questioning and disagreeing are rights that we have in this country. That is what makes this country great. But the way some people do it is shameful. What I mean is, a lot of people hate Bush, so they find as many things that support their claim and don't even bother to look at the other side. You are right in the fact that we don't know what is really going on. and that we can't, if the broadcast that info to us it will get to the "bad guys". We don't have to like what our government does but we should support the decisions it makes. We as a people have to assume that they are acting in what they feel is our best interests based on the info they have....info that we know very little of. I don't agree with everything this administration does but I do support it, he is OUR pres., like him or not. That is why they have terms. Support our troops, support our government, and support this country. Respect our differences, don't hate them. Look at both sides and then act, don't act then find articles and reports to back you up. I am sure that for every article you read there is one that supports the other side and they have "facts" to back that up also. Everythings is all about point of view. Yours is different than mine, and who knows, if we had the info the government has all of our points of view would change. and look at it like this....people say that people who support bush are "scared sheep just following along" well what if the info that the government has would scare people in this country even worse....maybe that is why we don't know. Just a thought...I don't know if it would or not.

No, we are a free society governed by people who are elected by the people and who should always be held responsible to those people. Lying to the people, relying on incomplete information, recording private conversations of citizens and setting up secret prisons are all acts that demand answers from the people that we are trusting to lead a FREE society. What price in freedom are you willing to pay for security. At what point does disagreeing with the government become subversive and therefore terroristic in nature. Will we as a people wait for the "re-education" camps to be set up around the country for people who have a different lifestyle, a different point of view or a different religion. Our government should be ran for the people and by the people. Disagreeing with the abuse of power puts the rest of us in the same group as Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington. If I remember correctly, they have been considered fairly patriotic.

No, by truth each and each and every and each and each and every of the Republicans have requested us to bypass away if we do not help the president. so as that's safeguard to imagine of optimal, if no longer all(crosses hands) of the Reps/Cons will be transferring in a overseas places u . s . a . if Hillary is elected, solid? that's what they say to non-Bush supporters. they say, "in case you do compared to our president, then why do you though stay right here? you're in a position to bypass away the country." So in quite slightly less then 2 years the established public of Republicans and Fox techniques will be taking their very very own suggestion and transferring in a overseas places u . s . a ..

Most people had rather be against the President no matter who he is. Maybe the President should do like all these people who know everything want, bring our boys home and see how long it will take for the enemy to follow. Then when the bombs start going off in these peoples backyard they will have no one to blame but themselves. No, that won't work then they will cry and whimper about the President and tell him he should not have brought the boys home when he did. Some people just can't be pleased

First off, I dont believe that terrorism is the problem that they lead us to believe. Read a book by Michael Parenti, "Superpatriotism" is a good one, and it tells how the government lies and manipulates us with fear. Second of all, I am a citizen of the United States of America, and the right to freedom of speech is protected by the US Constitution. Therefore, I can and will continue to criticize this administration because of the lies it has perpetuated. I will never support the president in this. The was is wrong and we are there for all of the wrong reasons.

While I agree with you in content, I cannot agree with you from a realistic standpoint. One of the greatest freedoms we possess as Americans is the freedom of speech. While I find some of the comments reprehensible, and do believe that some aid the enemy cause, I am not willing to trade freedom for security. To do so would threaten everything we are fighting for. In that respect if we lose our freedom then the terrorists win by default in my opinion.

It's called free speech, remember in the 60's there were some blacks who didn't approve of what the govt. was doing. I guess you think they should have kept their mouths closed for the good of the country.
This situation is the very reason the first amendment was written. If your govt. is doing some foul **** you have a duty as a "patriot" to speak up.
We can't expect our govt. to use common sense, if they had then maybe they would not have helped sddam attain power in iraq.

When the president manipulates facts and figures and blatantly lies about things, we should question what he's done. When a president rules through fear and us/them mentality, we need to question what he's doing. When a president asks us to give up our rights as citizens and violates international laws and laws he has sworn to uphold, we need to question his motives.

Have the terrorists won? Yes they have. But not because of the reasons you think. Our own government has done everything terrorists wanted it to do.

Shouldn't the German people support the Fuhrer now instead of letting the Russians feel they have won by negativity?
