Yes, I think I am open-minded. I know this because after meeting and talking to people with different experiences and opinions, I have learned to be less judgmental and more accepting of things I would normally not tolerate. I think if you are lucky, as you get older, you learn to be more open-minded, I hope that makes sense.

Honestly? Sometimes!

I am open-minded, when I can accept another view without judging the owner of that view.

Since we all are different - with different personalities - our thoughts, our ways are never going to be the same as the next person's. Therefore, it is in our best interest to be willing to hear what someone else has to say and, even if we do not agree with it nor do we apppreciate who that person is, to simply 'live and let live.'

Sadly, since this is an imperfect world society, that view is not what operates.

I think the best way to answer whether I am open-minded is to expose me to various experiences, and see how I react. This implies that the experiences are truly "varied". I think "varied" is subjective; it depends on who is judging.
We could examine my biases, but that would require a set of questions: who would write them? Are they open-minded? We could also look at my epistemology, that is, how I think I know what I know. Kinda technical, and, some would argue, close-minded.

I think open minded means being willing to change your opinion or stand. Being willing to listen to others' opinions alone doesn't make one open minded... IMHO.

If you tell me your father gave birth to you, I'd laugh... but if you tell me our universe is just an experiment (gone terribly wrong?) in some child's fish bowl, in a larger dimension... well... it's possible.

Does that count?

added:
Hey... That could explain why we haven't determined what the universe is expanding into... the glass fish bowl is going to explode!

i like to think that i am. i try to keep an open mind on everything and see and analyse things from both perspectives. i have my opinions on many issues that are of interest to me, but at the same time i take into consideration the views and issues of other people as well. personally, i consider myself as being opinionated but not a chatterbox. seeing as at times, i do keep my views to myself when possible and yet i am not one who insists on standing up and telling everyone about what's on my mind always. that's not my style. it is only frequently does it really happen. i don't see myself as being right all the time, but i do know is that everyone is not always right in what they say and do.

LOL ...oh yeah!! and I love it...!!!
How do you know if you are?
Speaking for myself I know because I love to ask why and why not!!! Nothing is written in stone and if it wasn't for open minded people we would die of boredom or stupidity LOL
