of all the people you have ever known who do you miss most?

I miss my grandad who died when I was 12, I regret that I didn't take the opportunity to know him when I was younger.

I miss my cousin who died 3 days before Valentine's day in 2004. He was a great father and husband to his wife and 3 kids... I miss him so much. I remember when I was little and we would have big family get togethers, we would all start horsing around and fighting and stuff and he would put me in wrestling holds and beat me up along with the rest of my 30 cousins lol. I was the only girl and the baby of the family. But he always stood up for me too. If anybody was picking on me too much or was being mean, he would be right there by my side defending me. As we got older, he gave me a lot of good advise and he had such a big heart. I remember all the times he would talk me through tough situations that I had to deal with and was even my shoulder to cry on a few times. Man, I miss him like crazy. It's hard, even now to think about him for too long without crying. I wish he could come back.

My mom. She died 5 years ago (2 days after thanksgiving and 2 days before my 23 birthday) from a failed valve in her heart. My 4 year old daughter and I were with her when she died and while Im glad she wasnt alone, its hard to live with the image of your mother dying. I miss everything about her. She was an awesome grandmother and im sad she didnt see my son and 2 nephews born. She taught so much to my sis and I and now all we can do is remember her legacy and live our lives to the fullest knowing very well that today could be our last on earth.

I miss my little sister, she died ten years ago and was only 24. She had a great sense of humor and was one of the most non-judgemental people I had every met.
