My ex-boyfriend and I were becoming just friends after a breakup. I asked him if he could help me pay my car note and I'll pay him back-he agreed. Now I had already given him 100.00 and only needed 85.00 more.Anyway I call him and no answer from 7:30pm to 11pm,so I go to his job, which is security for an apartment complex, well when i get ther he flips on me and we get in an insulting arguement. Well I leave and call him back to give him a peace of my mind, but who answers his friend which then begans to cuss me out and call me names all the while my ex is laughing in the background. I'm so heated right now, because that hurt for him to allow someone to disrespect me, I thinking of all kinds of ways to get revenge.(yeah i got my money back)What should i do?

There is a Spanish proverb: "The best revenge is that not taken."

I would say that you need to totally disassociate yourself from your ex and leave it be. Be the bigger person.

I don't understand from your question if he owes you money or you were borrowing money from him. Money often causes problems between friends. You probably shouldn't have shown up at his workplace. This makes it appear like you are some sort of stalker and it sounds like that is what his co-workers were responding to. Regardless, it is much better to cut your losses and don't take any sort of revenge. When you look back on this years later you will have no regrets, if you remember it at all. If he did you wrong then allow the natural order of things to take care of it. If you get in the way you are only creating trouble for yourself. I think you will be proud that you were the bigger person.

Let it go....trust me, it's not worth it. Just ignore this guy because he's never going to be your friend. The whole ex-boyfriend as a friend thing rarely works.
As for revenge...think of the karma. If you take his abuse and chalk it up to his stupidity...you are awarded 1 karma point. Good things will happen to you in the future. If you seek revenge...you're no better than him, and you wont have any real reward.

You owe him money
You go to his job because you can't get him on the phone
You take your money THAT YOU OWE HIM back

I think what you should do is grow up, pay what you owe and move on with your own life.
