I have a LG cell phone through Verizon.. I believe the model is VX600 or something like that. ANyway, I've had it for about a year, and i feel that the battery is craping out on me. Everytime i make a call ::even for as little as 2 minutes:: my phone goes down 2 bars to nearly dead. I have no trouble with service i get all my calls just fine. I took it to Verizon and they said my battery was fine. Does anyone have the same problems with their LG phones?

ALL cell phone batteries go after about a year. My LG did it, my Motorola did it. They aren't made to last, the makers thinking is that if it breaks and you have to spend 50 bucks to get a new one then you might just spend the extra 50 and get that new phone you wanted and resign your plan.
So its all a horrible scam.
But in short, yes, they all do that. Which is why they said nothing is wrong with it. That is the life expectancy.

I've noticed the same thing. The keys also get really hot when I've been talking for a while. I did my own little search and I found that the power only drops like that because its using up the battery to keep the keys and screen lit. It helps if you set those to turn off after a couple of seconds.

My LG phone has crappy battery life and always has. I purchased a new battery for $20 and that didn't really help me but it might you. Look for a battery with larger Mhz than you have now. good luck
