Lets go to Baghdad right now! After all, what better place to join in and defend democracy?!?!?

Are you smoking crack??? Iraq is no where near safe at this point.

Who knows if it ever will be.

I can't believe there are responses above saying the terrorists there were involved in attacking us on 9/11 so we had to go after them. Sheesh-- we've create MORE terrorists by going into Iraq. My God this country is getting dumber by the second.

omg did you ride the short bus dude or do you need a bib or a helmet? maybe you should read the papers and watch the news. its isn't safe over there! Bush screwed things up so bad not just for us but for future generations that it is probably only a matter of time before the camel humpers invade us like an infestation of cock roaches and kill us all or make slaves out of us after they make president bush the biach and make him dancing in a funny hat. i feel sorry for you dude. please come back to reality...come into the light.

Republicans probably don't want to move there. But there is some good news out of Iraq today. The Iraqi army is starting to take over. This may signal an end to the war(I hope).

Would you have moved to Germany a year or so after WWII. Probably not because of the insurgency and violence there. Would you move to Germany now. You bet you would. It is an economic powerhouse and a beautiful country.

you put up a good point. i think that republicans should go over to iraq and see what their politics have done with the place...in the least they should be there to defend democracy.

edit: and buzzy360..how is it a leftist rant...do you even know what youre talking about?

You don't get it do you, it's not about democracy it's about fighting terrorism. Iraq was a big terrorist country look at what they did in 9/11, surely you didn't want them to come here and fight us here.......... sarcasm

So, if you get a splinter, you're going to amputate your entire arm, right? You can't make a valid argument, so you compare apples to oranges.

We are in Iraq because that's where many of the terrorists are/were located. We took the war to them before they brought it to us full-scale. Wasn't 9-11, the bombing of the US embassy, and the bombing of the USS Cole enough to say that THEY picked this fight? In your opinion, how many US citizens must die before we're allowed to fight back?

Would you rather have the terrorists in your backyard, why don't you go to Saudi Arabia carrying a bible in your hands. Our Country is much safer than it has been in the last 15 years, thanks to our Soldiers and Mr. George Bush.
