My very favorite:
The 49ers made it to Super Bowl XVI in 1982 by beating Dallas in the fourth quarter on a 6-yard touchdown pass from Joe Montana to Dwight Clark. The play would be forever known as "The Catch."

it is an espn classic. college football cal vrs. stanford 1982. it is know as "The Play". after john elway (stanford) makes a drive downfield to set up a field goal. stanford leads by one point and 4 sec. left for the kickoff. the bears(cal) do several laterals to make a touchdown but not before the band takes the field as the players run through them. what a great moment. i will add a link to the video it awesome! make sure you click on the one that is 6 minutes long so you see everything!
