Having a hard time finding a foundation that doesn't make my face look oily by midmorning and an eyeliner that doesn't smear around the edges of my eyes. What do you recommend? Desperate for advice!

For the foundation...I would recommend you use a primer underneath your foundation. I love the one in Boots Number 7, it keeps your makeup really fresh, helps hide blemishes and a multitude of sins. Then I would advise you to use a foundation specially formulated for oily skin, and to avoid liquid foundation (unless it's liquid to powder). The best foundation I've found for oily skin is Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. If you want to you can use a light layer of powder to set the foundation, but go easy, as it's easy to use too much and have your makeup look caked-on. Carry blotting paper around with you during the day instead of a powder compact. These nifty little wipes absorb excess oil and leave a light, invisible layer of translucent powder behind.

For your eyeliner...have you tried using a liquid eyeliner instead of a pencil? It rarely smudges! And waterproof eyeliner is even better! hope this helps x

For the foundation I would use whatever type you like, but I would start with a cream that will help keep the oil down. Mary Kay has a lotion that will help with that; and you can also get some beauty blotters to help throughout the day. The best thing to do is find a skin care regimen that is made specifically for oily type skin; Mary Kay also has something that will help you with that.

As far as the eyeliner goes I love Mary Kay's eyeliner (yes I'm a little attached). Pretty much all of there stuff is wonderful, however I do prefer Revlon's mascara over theirs. good luck!

For the Foundation I would suggest the skin clearing foundation that Neutrogina has out... this will also help prevent blemishes and clear any up...

For the eyeliner I use the perfect lines pencil I think Cover Girl Makes it... it looks like a meciancal pencil and there is a buffer on one of the ends... Liquid eyeliner works well too...

Arbonne foundation sticks go on very sheer and light, the personalizer is great for oil control.

for eyeliner, I use a cake eyeliner or a black eyeshadow and apply with an eyeliner brush... it is much easier to fade into your eyeshadow and doesn't smudge unless you smudge on purpose!

Try one of the new mineral foundations. They are in powder form and go on in a breeze. They will absorbe the excess oils and make you look good all day. And, they are good for your skin.
