Wow-this is obvious baiting and so many people have fallen for it!
That being said, I think that people DO choose to express their homosexuality. I choose to have the hot FDNY calendar at my desk in the lab where I work and talk about my boyfriend and go to the one gay club in town. I COULD choose to hide it and pretend that I am straight and express a straight lifestyle...
So, to answer your question, people are allowed to be gay because we live in an open(-ish) and free(-ish) society.

Jimmy,. when gay persons tell you they had no choice in what their orientation is, they are telling you the truth. They are not making something up to pull a fast one on you.
I personally think that any orientation is the end result of the interaction of biolgoy + social forces, not just one set of factors alone. And even with the inclusion of social forces, I can still say to you that when a gay person tells you he or she had no choice in the matter, he or she is still telling you the truth. I've lived too long to believe otherwise.

homosexuals don't need your permission to be gay.God made them that way.Yeah it is how they're born because they did a study and showed it on 60 seconds born gayThe studied twins.One gya and one straight..If it was a choice then 2 year olds wouldn't show sign of being gay.They showed a now 9 year old with only barbies and other girly things in his room.Been that way since he was 2.They talked about that it could be genetics,the hormones the fetus is exposed to in the womb or the combination of the two.So you can't say they're not born that way.

Well you are both right and wrong. They are not born gay they choose to be they do not have a choice being homosexual that they are born with. You see being gay and being homosexual are two different things I am homosexual and g0y I choose not to be gay I choose to be g0y.
