The home side France got off to the best of starts, Sidney Govou breaking the deadlock after just two minutes, and when Thierry Henry beat Gianluigi Buffon from a tight angle 16 minutes later, it became clear the world champions were in for a long night.
Alberto Gilardino did fire them back into the match following poor marking from the French, but Govou was in scintillating form and doubled his account just after the break. A substitute at Lyon so far this season, the forward was contesting his first match of the new campaign, but he showed no signs of rustiness as he beat Fabio Cannavaro to Willy Sagnol's cross and angled a header past Buffon.

ya the best goal keeper"buffon" was there and he wasnt even close to saving any of the three goals
the new french goalkeeper is better
