I know this sounds childish but I'm usually a very nice person. I used to think my relationship with my boss was great. Until one day out of no where- came up to "only" me- and told me to take down all of my pictures (they were appropriate pictures) and cards from my desk. He said he was just "thinking about the patients." He then told me it wasn't directed to just me. BUT- I still see others with about 8-10 pictures up- did he say anything to them? NO. I feel targeted. And till this day- I'm still bitter. Who can I address this issue to besides my boss? I hate him talking to me every day like nothing happened. How do I ignore him without being rude? Thanks for understanding.

If you want to continue working there, you may need to lighten up a bit. People do things for stupid reasons and your boss may have had his stupid reason at the time. Just think of it as that. Continue to be your nice, friendly person and move on. It will work out best for you, your health and your mental health not to hold a grudge. It may make matters more unconfortable for both you and your boss if you do anything or say anything. If it happens again or another circumstance you don't feel confortable with, then ask him why are you the only one being addressed and not others. Do so in a kind way.

A common situation, About the only thing you can do is communicate with your boss, ask him why you were singled out when others around you haven't been. Best of luck. -- Love your picture

wow, that sucks...ask your coworkers if they were told the same thing. I had similar issues with bosses that I had. It's not easy to deal with a person who has no morals.

I DONT THINK ITS HATE,YOU JUST DESPISE HIM,BECAUSE HE DID THIS TO YOU,AND ONLY YOU.AND SOMETIMES I FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT MY BOSS,SHE SAYS THINGS TO ME AND ONLY ME,BUT SHES ONE OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS.SO JUST IGNORE HIM,AND EVENTUALLY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PUT YOUR PICS BACK UP,AS LONG AS THERE NOT ANYTHING WRONG WITH THEM THAT WOULD DISCRIMINATE,OR HARM YOURSELF OR ANYONE ELSE.
