It tells the story of a man cheating. He has the woman he is with believing everything is fine when he is really in love with another woman (the one on the phone) I love and hate it all in the same token. It is a great song but if you have ever been that "other woman" it can stike a nerve.

I dont know why it would bother you. I love it. My girlfriend on the other hand doesnt so much. Of course it's talking about cheating.
Have you been cheated on? Maybe that's why it bothers you. It brings up some ugly feelings.

Maybe your guy or girl has cheated on you or has been in contact with an ex while with you, or maybe your still in love with an ex. That's basically what the song is about.

Well first of all, its "Lips of an Angel" and secondly I don't know why it would bother you. He is talking to his ex-girlfriend while his current girlfriend is in the other room....that's all...why would it bother you?

Yeah, by the Hinder, maybe it reminds you of someone or maybe you don't like the band... actually I can't explain it to you why it annoys you, only you yourself can do that.
