We were just in Europe this past May (Italy and Germany) and did not see ANY positive press on our President or our government. Is is possible that you have formed these opinions because of YOUR biased media?

reeree - we do our best to speak the language of the country we are in. My kids and husband can all speak another language fluently, and I can speak a couple languages enough to get by. At the Vatican we were able to get our questions answered by a nun who spoke Spanish because my family all speak it.

I came from an allied country of the USA. For me, I can see George Bush as a good leader not only in his country but also among others especially the third world countries. He helped us here during the times of disaster and crisis. We have a good economic relations with the US. He is very sincere, fair, and persistent in combating terrorism.

Your question is invalid, because you assume that all people from other countries -
a) have biased media outlets that bash Bush
b) give a tinker's cuss about Bush to begin with
c) don't have their own national concerns that have nothing to do with Bush at all
d) love the fact that Bush got them involved in an unpopular, illegal war.
I have to say, you have a rather imperialistic attitude. Why would you automatically think that other people in other nations have great things to say about Bush and the US government? May I ask if you learned Italian and German for your trip? Or did you assume that everyone speaks English, too? There's no international law that says that everyone else in the world has to love the US and say nice things about the president. The US is not the be all, end all. Especially in Europe.

Yes it is possible. Every country has a biased media. However, there are still those media outlets that tries to balance a particular issue. But I think everything depends on the personal bias of a person. Meaning that it all depends on how a person perceive or accept the information coming from the media. Of course other factors will come into place such as the person's culture or education. Consequently, our opinions will be formed on how we perceive a particular issue is delivered through the news.

They view him as the cowboy he is, he shoots from the hip without the fore thought to ascertain the consequences of his actions. That type of leadership went out with Teddy Roosevelt. Ronald Reagan was an actor who only wanted to be a cowboy not act like one on the world stage.
