I once looked in the mirror when i was extremely high on crystal. And within my pupils i saw the deepest darkness and i got so scared. I saw pure evil. The light that glows and changes was within me and overcame all that evil. That was the first and last time i ever did that. It was like the event horizon, yet i somehow escaped.

Good luck.

Yes to both.

And then there is the changeless Reality, the Silent Witness, which bears witness to all the comings and goings -- to all the passing phenomenon of light and darkness -- of this mentally created universe.

Best to concern ourselves with that which never changes. All the rest -- all the impermanent things we perceive, including light and darkness -- will come and go eternally (i.e. "This too shall pass"), so long as we have a mind to perceive them.

Beyond these is neither light nor darkness, time nor no time, space nor no space, existence nor non-existence. Beyond everything the mind conceives and perceives is the Eternal Self, which you are, which has never and will never change one iota.

When we rediscover our identity with this ground state of just simply "being", which never changes, we are free from all fear and from the torment of getting wrapped up in the mind, emotions and misidentification with the "movie" playing out on the "screen" of Eternal Being that we are.

So, yeah, you've got light and you've got dark and then you've got eternal unchanging Reality beyond them both.

Ever notice that anything you've ever perceived, you're always there as the perceiver?

Who is that perceiver?

And what makes you think of that anybody would be harm with the help of your question? I trust Riya that darkness is "absence of sunshine" and mild-weight is power and 3*10^8 is the fee with which mild is propagated. basically like vacuum is the absence of air, lack of know-how is absence of expertise. And darkness is a recognition given for the situation for absence of sunshine. that does no longer recommend that this is a few style of power. like the absence of warmth is chilly, does no longer recommend that chilly is a few thing this is recent or measured. there's a decrease to presence of warmth like 0K or -273 deg C so we are actual measuring warmth no longer chilly. i've got self assurance you're thinking to plenty this is powerful in a manner yet come down- do no longer make all of it too complicated. often times, user-friendly issues confuse us if we expect of too plenty approximately it.

There must be an end to the universe.. then again there'd be nothing after this end and nothing would then be something.. maybe dark empty space? Neither possibility makes "sense."

If you can imagine that actually "Being" then [quite possibly] it's already reality-- "...there is nothing new under the Sun". Great question!
