I'm a guy, but I can say the makeup I have a hard time noticing is the bare minerals stuff. If applied correctly, it's pretty subtle. You'll need someone else to teach you to apply it though.

They key here is to be subtle! To make your lashes look longer, the best non-obvious thing to do is to curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, then use a clear mascara. You could also use a very thin line of brown (best for tanned skin or brunettes) or grey (best for blondes or fair skin) eyeliner in the outer third of your eye. If you normally use mascara to darken your lashes, you could get a permanent lash tint at a salon.
If you have dry skin, or want to give your skin a glow, try using tinted moisturiser. It really lifts your skin and makes you look healthy, without the heaviness of foundation. Just smooth it over your skin like a normal skin cream.
Try using a coverstick for any blemishes (I love the one in the Miss Sporty range) and a light-reflecting concealer for any under-eye bags. Just dab the concealer on the bits you want to hide, and smudge slightly using clean fingers to blend. If you have oily, greasy skin, try using blotting paper. They absorb excess oil and leave a thin invisible veil of mattifying powder behind. Be sure to take some to school with you!
Finally, use a little clear lip gloss in the centre of your bottom lip for a pretty pout. Chose plumping lipgloss if you have thin lips, or if you want plumper lips.
That should leave you looking pretty damn gorgeous! Feel free to email me if you have any more questions (use my yahoo address). take care x

translucent powder..to cut down on shine
or Tinted Moisturizer (its like lotion but has makeup tint to it to cover up blemishes)
clear mascara for eyelashes
brow powder to darken the brows a bit (if u want... it frames the face. do NOT do it too dark though!)
tinted chapstick, to make ur lips slightly pink :)

Get some foundation that totally matches your skin color and just a hint of blush. If you think you can get away with it, try some lip gloss.

bronzer is pretty subtle, as well as mascara (if not caked on) and chapstick for kids that is cherry flavored for color... but be careful, if a teacher rubs your skin or eyelashes with a tissue it will show up...

If you get an electric eyelash curler, they work great and you don't need mascara.
